| PR Photography |
| Top rates paid to photographers who have experience and flair for PR photography, ideally would suit photographers with news experience both for national and local newspapers. Assignments available throughout the UK and sometimes abroad. Smart, presentable and polite applicants would receive an attractive payment on an hourly basis. This is a freelance position. Evidence of a strong portfolio including published work essential. |
| News & Events Photographers |
| Shifts available for news photographers throughout the UK, you will be responding to live news events and providing images to us for onward transmission to national and international media. You will be tasked by our office and provided with backup from our experienced picture desk staff. Each shift is for eight hours and payments are made one week after the shift was done. We can also place images for photographers wanting to work on spec and provide generous agency splits in the photographers favour. Applicants will have their own equipment and vehicle with the ability to wire quickly, images directly from a job using their own laptop. Evidence of published work is essential with your application as well as a wide ranging portfolio. Often you will be tasked at short notice. This is a freelance position. |
| Football Photographers |
| We hold both a Football League and a Premier League football license and are able now to expand our team. We are looking for photographers who would work at the games on a shift basis. Applicants should have appropriate equipment for this type of work and an ability to wire images from the games at half time and full time. Public liability insurance of £5,000,000 is essential and a requirement of the job. Evidence of this type of work in the form of cuttings and a folio would be needed. This is a freelance position. |
| Surveillance Photographers |
| Previous experience of this type of work is essential. You would be tasked, often at short notice, to carry out covert surveillance on individuals who's activities are of public interest. We work to strict privacy guidelines set out by the PCC and remain totally professional when on this type of assignment. Applicants would be expected to show a high level of competence and professionalism in this area of work. If successful, the applicant would be working both in the UK and abroad often for long periods of time. Would suit an applicant with previous surveillance training or who can show an aptitude for this type of work. Shifts are each eight hours long but often you would be expected to work double shifts of 16 hours spending long periods of time away from home. You would be paid attractive shift rates the week following the shift directly into your bank account. Applicants should be able to provide evidence of their experience in this field, own their own equipment including laptop computer and a minimum of a 300mm lens. You would also be willing to engage in a surveillance test scenario before being tasked. This is a freelance position but with a very attractive earning potential. |
| Features, Editorial and Celebrity photographers |
| Photographers are required to carry out assignments for feature and editorial articles. Providing a set of images to accompany a story or theme to be published in magazines and newspapers. We also require photographers who can work with celebrities and their agents to provide a set of images which will convey a story or theme about what they are currently doing. Furthermore, we require photographers to work 'on spec' at celebrity events, providing us with both live and stock images which we would sell on your behalf providing you in return with a generous agency split in your favour, your images would be placed on IDS the worldwide recognised on line image database. Photographers should be able to provide examples of their work and also cuttings of some previously published work to be successful in their application. This is also a freelance position. |
